Wolfram Partner & Technology Conference - June 2015
We attended the Wolfram Partner conference on 1 June and then the Wolfram European Technology Conference from the 2nd to 3rd June at the Radisson Blu, Frankfurt Germany. The technology conference focussed on new Wolfram Cloud technologies for data analysis and visualisation.

Anylogic International Training Course - April 2015
International trainer, Ilya Grigoryev presented a 3 day intensive Anylogic V7 training course from 13 to 15 April. We had a good attendance of 15 delegates from CSIR, DeLoitte, BHP Billiton, DeBeers, University of Stellenbosch and North West University. We also incorporated customer visits in Cape Town.

Anylogic Partner Conference - February 2015
The Anylogic partner conference took place at the Andreola Central Hotel, Milan, Italy from 3 to 4 February. Partners received training on the new GIS capabilities of Anylogic V7.1 and explored best practices as implemented in Australia, Japan, Germany, China, Finland and Russia.

EMEASEC 2014 Conference - October 2014
The International EMEA Systems Engineering Conference will take place from 27 to 29 October 2014 at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West. We will be exhibiting Mathematica and Anylogic Simulation modelling software as well as sponsoring 2 copies of Wolfram System Modeler for the best conference presentations.

ORSSA 2014 Conference - September 2014
The 43rd Annual conference of the Operations Research Society of South Africa will take place from 15 to 17 September 2014 at the Stone Henge Conference Center, outside Parys. We will be exhibiting our software products and presenting a talk titled: "Wolfram Technology as applied to data analytics"

SAIIE 2014 Conference - July 2014
The 26th Annual Southern African Institute of Industrial Engineering Conference will take place from 14 to 16 July 2014 at the Glenburn Lodge Conference Centre in Muldersdrift. We will be exhibiting and offering an afternoon tutorial on the new Anylogic V7 simulation software. We will also give a presentation: "What is the Wolfram Language, and why should I care."

Anylogic Partner Conference - February 2014
The Anylogic partner conference took place at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam, Holland on 4 and 5 February. Partners received a preview of new features for V7 and an overview of the Anylogic technology roadmap.

Mathematica Country Tour - October 2013
Wolfram Research, USA toured South Africa from 7 to 14 October 2013 and visited Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Pretoria. Farid Pasha, International Business development manager, and Jan Brugard, Head of Wolfram System Modeler, presented the talks.

Wolfram Partner Conference - October 2013
We attended the Wolfram Partner conference from 3 to 4 October, at Wolfram's European head office in Oxford UK. Blue Stallion received the annual sales performance award. Other countries represented were, Israel, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, Austria, and Italy.

INCOSE 2013 Conference - August 2013
The 10th Annual International Council on Systems Engineering will take place from 26 to 28 August 2013 at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. We will be exhibiting Mathematica and Anylogic Simulation modelling software.

SAIIE 2013 Conference - July 2013
The 25th Annual Southern African Institute of Industrial Engineering Conference will take place from 9 to 11 July 2013 at the Spier Conference Centre in Stellenbosch. We will be exhibiting and offering an afternoon tutorial: "A Hands-on workshop with Anylogic." We will also give a presentation on the use of Mathematica in Industrial Engineering.

ORSSA 2012 Conference - September 2012
The 41st Annual conference of the Operations Research Society of South Africa will take place from 17 to 19 September 2012 at the Aloe Ridge Resort, north west of Johannesburg. We will be exhibiting our software products and presenting a talk on case studies of local implementations and industrial applications of Mathematica, Anylogic, Lingo and Expert Choice.

SASA 2011 Conference - November 2011
The 53rd Annual conference of the South African Statistical Association (SASA) will take place from 1 to 4 November 2011 at the International Convention Centre of the CSIR in Pretoria. We will be exhibiting our statistical software products - Mathematica, Systat and SigmaStat.

Anylogic Fundamental and Advanced Training Course - October 2011
International trainer, Ilya Grigoriev ran this years Anylogic training course from 17 to 21 October. The fundamental course was attended by 12 delegates and the Advanced course by 8.

ISEM 2011 Conference - September 2011
The International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering and Engineering Management for Sustainable Global Development, will take place from 21 to 23 September 2011 at the Spier Conference Centre, near Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The conference is a joint initiative between the Southern African Institute for Industrial Engineering (SAIIE), INCOSE (South Africa) and the Graduate School for Technology Management at the University of Pretoria. We will be exhibiting our software products and presenting a talk: Simulation modeling of Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chains using Anylogic.

SACI Conference - January 2011
The 40th South African Chemical Institute conference is hosted by WITS in Johannesburg from 17 to 21 January. We will be exhibiting software products and running a morning training workshop: Exploring the capabilities of Mathematica V8 as a research and teaching tool.

SASA Conference - November 2010
The 52nd Annual South African Statistical Association Conference is taking place at the North West University in Potchefstroom, from 8 to 12 November 2010. We will be exhibiting statistical software products on Wed, Thurs and Friday in the JCC Building, Potchefstroom Campus.

Mathematica Country Tour - September 2010
Wolfram Research, USA toured South Africa from 30 August through 15 September 2010 with stops in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth and Potchefstroom. In total we visited 14 institutions and more than 400 people attended the talks. Beccy Remenji, International Business development manager, and Taliesin Beynon, Research Programmer from Wolfram Alpha presented the talks.
